Having the intensive and extensive experience in working for a civil society organization and within the civil society community, I dare to say any success at the organizational level is very much tied with the investment in the area of skills development and training. Organizations are living istitutions, dynamic and skills development is a key factor to their survival.

For organizations to develop, we need to focus on people as they drive the change and themselves being change makers;- these assumptions prevail

  1. Most individuals have drives toward personal growth and development if provided an environment that is both supportive and challenging...
  2. Most peopledesire to make, and are capable of making, a higher level of contribution to the attainment of organization goals than most organizational environment permit.

If we deal with the two assuptions by complementing our human resources skills development our organizations are bound to succeed tremendously!

In need of Training?

In this fast changing working environment, one can not avoid the essence of training, the kind of training that improves perfomance, efficiency and increase productivity. From a human development perspective, each one of us needs training to develop-- REMEMBER the right training, the right time and the right trainer (Triple T). I believe in the kind of learning that is learner centred... experiential learning, the kind of learning that can be measured against set goals prior to the learning process.
